Salmon Burger

I wish everyone had an amazing holiday season and time to start fresh this 2016! I am so psyched about the beginning of the year because it acts as a reset button where you can start anew and really get motivated! One of my NY goals is to make more conscious choices when it comes to what I eat in a daily basis.

So for this fine weekend, I decided to make some Salmon Burgers minus the cheese.

Here's what you'll need:

- Diet Wheat Rolls
- Salmon Patties
- Alfalfa sprouts
- Romaine Lettuce
- Capers
- Olive oil (for frying)
- Horseradish mustard (optional)
- Lemon (optional)

What to do:

1. Fry your salmon patties using olive oil
2. Cut in halves and toast your rolls
3. Assemble your ingredients in the order of Bread - Lettuce - Patty - Sprouts - Capers - Bread.
4. Add horseradish mustard or a spritz of lemon juice for more flavour

It doesn't need to be wheat rolls, you can go with panini or ciabatta! Find out what suits your taste best.
