Today on the blog: Making your comfort food and just being grateful ;) I've been feeling down in the dumps lately, an excuse for me to just go ahead and eat anything (I'm looking at you Potato Corner fries!!!). I'm always stressed and annegry. Although, whenever I feel whiny and mad, I would also realise how grateful I should be about everything that is happening to me right now. I know that life could be many times better but in my current state, I am grateful that I'm in a good place even if I don't realise or admit it often.

Gratitude is such a powerful feeling. You won't believe how many times I've been saved by practising it! Just wanted to remind myself and my readers of it, Be grateful and thankful even of the littlest of things! It would make a lot of difference in your life!

On another note, food does make a big difference not only in one's life but on one's stomach as well! :P A comfort food like no other – creamy, sweet and tangy potato salad. It is something you can make over the weekend, stuff inside your fridge and take out whenever you feel the need to consume comfort food.  In this case, they consumed everything in one sitting. I have to replenish and buy ingredients for a bigger batch next time ;)

What a crazy week it has been! Tomorrow is going to be a start of another crazy week (or maybe not!). I made a mental note that I should update this blog regularly and that means doing a #SundayCooking post. 

The problem: I wasn't able to swing by the supermarket. 
The solution: Scavenge for ingredients in the refrigerator.

Luckily, I have some leftover flour tortilla, ham and a bit of quick melting cheese. That's why today on the blog, I'm sharing to you how you can make Quesadilla from just about anything in your refrigerator (as long as you have flour tortilla wraps at the ready).

You know how sometimes you'd want to dig in to something hearty but wouldn't want to get so stressed in cooking. Fret not! I know just the thing. Sharing to you tonight, a recipe that I would consider as Masarap, Masustansya at Kayang-Kaya! 

You don't need to make a pie crust, because who has time to knead a dough anyway! Instead, let's start with Purefoods' Sexy Chix Chicken Chunks in Guiltless Broth, a bit (or a lot) of Magnolia Quickmelt Cheese and Magnolia Gold Unsalted Butter.

I've always liked chicken. Chicken > Pork! For some unknown reasons, I am most attracted to the breasts and would always pass on the legs. That's just how the way it is! While, I know so many others who love legs, thighs and wings. Ha! That goes to show how diverse we are on our taste buds. Fortunately, we don't have to buy it separately. We can just buy one whole chicken, chop, cook and dig in! On a side note, I have always been fascinated with whole chickens and families. Most of the time, when families order/cook a whole chicken, nothing would get wasted, each member of the family has their favourite part and no one has to worry of leftovers. ;)

Today on the blog, I bought one whole chicken, cooked a part of it and turned it to something amazing! ;) All you need to do is to whisk together the ingredients for the marinade, pour it and let it sit then bake! Easy Sesame Chicken! Eh talagang Masarap, Masustansya at Kayang-kaya ang recipe na 'to!

I can’t believe that it is already the first week of April. It seems like time just flew by and now here we are trying our best to keep up with our resolutions. I honestly want to practise more cooking and less eating (out). So today on the blog, I’ll share one of the dishes I have prepared a few weekends back. It is easy, quick and most importantly delicious! Ingredients can easily be bought at your local supermarket so you don’t have any excuses! ;)
