Deconstructed Chicken Pot Pie

You know how sometimes you'd want to dig in to something hearty but wouldn't want to get so stressed in cooking. Fret not! I know just the thing. Sharing to you tonight, a recipe that I would consider as Masarap, Masustansya at Kayang-Kaya! 

You don't need to make a pie crust, because who has time to knead a dough anyway! Instead, let's start with Purefoods' Sexy Chix Chicken Chunks in Guiltless Broth, a bit (or a lot) of Magnolia Quickmelt Cheese and Magnolia Gold Unsalted Butter.


Ingredients

1 tablespoon of Magnolia Gold Unsalted Butter
1 tablespoon flour
two cans of Sexy Chix Chicken Chunks In Guiltless Broth
1/2 cup of Magnolia Quickmelt Cheese
1/4 white onion, chopped
baby potatoes, boiled and chopped
1/2 carrot, diced
1 stalk celery, diced
whole wheat tortilla wrap
ground pepper
sea salt



Instructions

Boil baby potatoes until tender, let it cool then chop.

In a pan heat the Magnolia Gold Unsalted butter until it melts. Slowly incorporate the flour and stir. Add the broth from the Sexy Chix Chicken Chunks and mix well until you achieve a thick consistency (pictured below). Add your chicken. Season with salt and pepper. Let the mixture cool for a bit.


In a dish, put together the diced onions, celery, carrots and boiled baby potatoes. Top with your mixture. Sprinkle a generous amount of cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.




Pop in the oven to bake for 10 - 15 minutes. Once done, serve with a whole wheat tortilla wrap or over steaming white rice! Yum!
